I am a Junior at Castro Valley High School, and my decision to join Peer1on1 is rooted in my lifelong interaction with neurodiverse children. I have consistently felt compelled to engage with and communicate with them. Outside of my commitment to Peer1on1, I cherish spending time with friends and immersing myself in books. My goal is to impart my skills and experiences to children who genuinely require support. Moreover, I aspire to generate greater interest in raising awareness about neurodiversity within our community.

Hello, I’m in 10th grade at Amador Valley High School. I like to read and do watercolor. I also enjoy being with friends and having random (sometimes pointless) conversations with them. I hope to help many students and get to know all of them!

My name is Emma Chang and I am the Secretary for the Bay Area Branch of Peer 1 on 1. I’m extremely grateful to be a part of Peer 1 on 1 as it is such an impactful and important organization. Through this organization, my knowledge of neurodiversity and communication abilities have been greatly improved, which I’m extremely grateful for. In my free time, I enjoy playing the viola and piano, as well as baking pastries.
