President

After seeing the autistic children at my school and seeing how they needed assistance, I wanted to join the effort in improving the lives of autistic children. As a volunteer for Peer 1 on 1, I am so grateful that I have been able to introduce new exercise activities, singing activities and more to the autistic children and seeing them smile when we have our weekly activities. In my free time I enjoy listening to the music, eating and cooking different cuisines, and reading. I hope that by volunteering for the children in Peer 1 on 1, I will be able to brighten their days and see their smiles whenever we do something as simple as singing or something hard like cooking. I look forward to helping Peer 1 on 1 becoming a welcoming and fun organization.

Emma Ma

 Vice President

I am currently a senior at Arcadia High School and I'm honored to serve as the Vice President of the San Gabriel Branch. Being a part of this organization has been a truly rewarding experience. I am so grateful to have found such an important cause. Over the past years, I have had the chance to work closely with neurodiverse children, providing one-on-one support and organizing weekly events to bring a sense of community and belonging to neurodivergent kids. Seeing the growth and joy in each child has been incredibly fulfilling, and it is an honor to help improve their lives and accompany them. My journey with Peer 1 on 1 has deepened my understanding of the challenges faced by these incredible kids and has motivated me to continue advocating for inclusivity and acceptance in every aspect of my life.

Eric Gu

Vice President

I am currently a Junior at the Webb School of California. I am extremely grateful to be able to volunteer at Peer1on1 and to serve as the Vice President. During my time serving with Peer1on1, I have been able to work with many different neurodivergent children helping them through games, crafts, and more. I have also worked with neurodivergent children one-on-one, accompanying them in activities such as swimming, hiking, and reading. Serving at Peer1on1 has helped me grow a lot personally, and has changed my perspective on the neurodivergent community. In the coming year, I hope to continue my service at Peer1on1, helping to foster and develop a community where everyone can express and grow themselves.
