On November 14, Peer 1 on 1 hosted an online workshop with guest speaker Doug Blecher! Doug Blecher is the founder of Autism Personal Coach, an organization that has provided coaching to autistic teens and adults to help them manage their challenges and achieve their goals in life. It was so exciting to see 28 inquisitive students attend the workshop and show interest in learning more about autism. Doug debunked common misconceptions about autism, gave advice about peer interaction, and offered extra educational sources. At the end of his presentation, we took 10 minutes to ask him a few questions which enriched our learning even more. Thank you so much Doug!
