This Sunday was the San Gabriel branch's hiking event. A group of Peer1on1 members went hiking in the Monrovia Hillside Wilderness Preserve, which has a five mile out and back trail to the Sunset Bench with elevation gain about 1000 feet. Though some were, at first, reluctant to hike, by the end everyone was happy to join us. Others appeared to have difficulties at the beginning but all persevered and made it to the top! Everyone enjoyed viewing the picturesque landscape and taking a much needed break from the indoors.
