Stanford Guest Speaker 1/12/2021

This Saturday, we were fortunate to have Dr. Fung speak in an online training to our volunteers and members of the community! Dr. Fung is the director of the Stanford Neurodiversity Project, which is a unique program that aims to uncover the strengths of neurodiverse individuals and how to help develop those talents. Dr. Fung spoke about the impact of our efforts on the community and the uniqueness of people with autism and how volunteers can help them feel more comfortable around them. After he spoke, he answered many of our volunteers’ questions! After the training, our volunteers felt much more confident about their work and how to make our events better! We are so grateful to have had the chance to work with Dr. Fung to provide such an interesting and informative training to our volunteers. Thank you so much Dr. Fung!
