At the start of every semester, Peer 1 on 1 holds a training for all new volunteers, so we held a training on November 15 for these new volunteers. In the training, Peer 1 on 1 explained our organization’s message in depth and went over the needs of people with autism. Since quarantine started, we have had many difficulties switching online, so we found it very helpful to go over the needs of neurodiverse people so that even though the events are online, they are still fun and beneficial. It was a truly interesting and informative experience, and everyone learned a lot from it! With this training, we can prepare better for future events!
