Peer 1 on 1 had an awesome volunteer event at Joe Rodgers Field playing tennis! Everyone used masks and considered safety and precaution as priority. At first, we had one high school volunteer play tennis with a peer with autism, but later, we switched formats and played 2 on 2 and 3 on 3. Together, we strengthened our hand-coordination skills and practiced throwing balls. Although tiring, we were able to have several tennis matches and everyone had a blast!
